Building bridges between law students and the legal profession.

CLSS regularly seeks career opportunities for its members and organises a variety of events, including clerkship info sessions, law fair, mentoring program and career seminars/workshops.

We encourage students to take part in our careers portfolio as it enhances your understanding of the legal industry and your career options prior to/upon graduation.

  • Hong Kong Careers Panel

    CLSS regularly hosts the Hong Kong Careers Panel, inviting Sydney Law School alumni thriving in the Hong Kong legal environment to gain valuable insights into their unique career paths to success, highlights, challenges, and the experience of living and working in this dynamic city. CLSS also encourages communication between law students and alumni.

  • Hong Kong Law Fair

    CLSS organises the Hong Kong Law Fair on an annual basis, inviting the best law firms across the globe to share their career insights with our fellow members at the Sydney Law School Law Foyer.

  • Sydney Career Panel

    CLSS holds the Sydney Career Panel annually. Most panelists are former executives and members of CLSS who are currently working at international commercial law firms across the globe.

  • Law Firm Career Talks

    CLSS assists law firms in holding career talks and information sessions exclusively for University of Sydney law school students. There will be more upcoming career talks.
