CLSS acknowledges the substantial workload of law students and aims to provide every support to students throughout their study. This includes organising study groups, providing academic tips and liaising with the Faculty on students' learning experience.

    Law School Essentials: Note-Taking

    Starts 1:00pm. A student panel on note-taking that actually holds up in a law degree. Regulus Lowe, Angel Wan and Elizabeth Gao talk through what their own setups look like, and what they would change if they were starting first year again. Covered on the day: turning a semester of notes into materials you can use under time pressure in an open-book exam; how to decide what goes into a case note and what to skip; structuring a case note around the legal issues, material facts, litigation history, decision and judicial reasoning; and organising notes by unit, topic and subtopic across a semester.
