Hong Kong Summer Internship Programme 2027
White & Case
A four-week internship in White & Case's Hong Kong office, running in July 2027 (exact dates confirmed during the recruitment process). You take on real client work — drafting memoranda and client alerts, legal research, attending meetings and court hearings — with a supervisor, mentor and trainee buddy throughout. Who can apply: law students studying in Australia, the UK or Hong Kong, aiming to start a training contract in 2029. Applications open 24 August 2026 and close 31 December 2026.

Hong Kong Summer Internship Programme 2027
Freshfields
Freshfields runs two four-week internship schemes in its Hong Kong office, in June and July 2027. This is the first step to a Hong Kong training contract — Freshfields selects its future trainees from the internship programme, and makes training contract offers on 1 August each year. The firm covers PCLL course fees in full and provides a maintenance grant for living costs. Who can apply: penultimate-year students. You must hold valid student status at the time of the internship, because of Hong Kong training visa requirements. Applications open 1 August 2026 and close 31 December 2026 (Hong Kong time).
